FAQ's Of Bouncy Castle and Inflatable Hire

1. How do I book? You can book online, but if you’re having difficulty please call 01142367736 or 07902989694 and we can help you over the phone. You can book at any time but it does get busy during the summer, so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Alternatively, you can contact us on the day as occasionally we may have availability.
2. When are your bouncy castles available? Inflatables are available 7 days a week. From mid October to March, inflatables are only available for indoor use only. Some large inflatables are not available outside from October to March.
4. How long do I get the inflatable for? We will deliver and set up the bouncy castle before your party starts. We will then come and take the inflatable away at an agreed time. Delivery for private gardens outside could be anytime between 7 and 11am although we will put you into an earlier delivery slot if it starts before 11am. If you are hiring a venue, you'll need to enter your party times on the booking form and we'll work around you. Collection is on the same day unless you're hiring one of our overnight castles. Outside collections: During the busy season we start our collections from 5pm in the follong postcodes: s5, s6, s32, s35, s42, s43, s25, s26 and Rotherham. At 5:30pm we start collection in the remaining postcodes. We don't guarantee any later collection than 5:30pm for most postcodes (unless otherwise discussed before booking). Usually s8, s7, s11, s17, s18 postcodes can be left until 6pm if required.
Inside collections: Latest indoor collection time is 7pm. Sometimes we can leave it later for an extra charge but you'll have to contact us first to check.
5. What surface do you set up on?
Good grass: This means we won't set up on mud, dirt, soil or sand.
Block paving: We can not set up on block paving. No bouncy castle company should be offering this option. Inflatables must be secured to ground or anchored to fixed structures.
Concrete or tarmac: THIS SERVICE IS NOW NOT AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS (except schools). We drill small holes and use bolts to secure the castle. There is a £15 charge for this as you will need extra mats around the castle. Schools may use there own PE mats, in which case the charge will be reduced. You need 163kg of weight per anchor point (6 anchor points). Alternate method of securing on concrete is placing a car (x2) either side of the inflatable and attaching a strap (rope) around the wheels, we have done this once before and works very well. IMPORTANT: Remember, a castle can blow away in strong wind if it's not properly secured. If a company offers to use sandbags outside on a hard surface, they are not only breaking the law, they are putting your children at risk. Feel free to ring for advice.
5b. How much does it cost? There are no hidden costs. You pay what it states on the website. We do charge extra for bolting on concrete or late indoor collections.
6. What do the prices include? All booking prices include delivery, set up and collection. You will also get a fan, extension, RCD (optional), safety mats and of course the castle.
7. Do I have to pay a deposit? If you are outside our free delivery area or spend over £100, a deposit is required.
8. How do I pay? – If you’re outside our free delivery area you may be required to pay a deposit online via card payment. Payment must be made in cash / Paypal / bank transfer at the time of delivery. Failure to pay on delivery will result in our driver not being able to set up and your booking will be cancelled. The driver will not leave the castle until payment has been cleared. Only schools may pay by cheque / bank transfers.
9. What if I need to cancel? You can cancel at any time, but If you cancel within 14 days of your original booking date, you will lose your deposit. Deposits will be refunded if rain is due and you wish to cancel.
10. What if it rains? Most of our inflatables have built in rain covers so they will be fine to use in light rain. There will be no cost to yourselves in the event of cancellation due to bad weather.
11. Can the inflatable be put on a hill/slope? If it is a very slight slope it may be possible but you will need to discuss this before booking. A photo may be required; if so send one to our Facebook page or WhatsApp 07902989694.
12. Does it take long to set up the inflatable? For outside hire, most inflatables take 15 minutes to set up and 15 minutes to pack up. However, this is only an estimate as times vary depending on which castle you hire. For indoor hire, set up can be done in 5 minutes once we arrive, depending on ease of access.
13. How much space is needed? You will need to allow a minimum of 4ft at the front of the bouncy castle for the safety mats and approximately 4ft at the rear for the blower. Space required is stated on each bouncy castle description.
14. What do I need? We supply all the hardware you will need for the inflatable but you will need to provide a 240 volts mains power supply within 45 metres of the inflatable, unless you hire our generator. For garden hires you will need to provide identification, (drivers licence, utility bill etc) as this forms part of the hire agreement.
15. Do you supply safety instructions? Yes, we have a ‘terms and conditions of hire’ form which needs to be read and signed by you upon on delivery.
16. Is there an age limit? For most inflatables the age limit is 12 but limits vary on each bouncy castle. Please view the text next to your chosen castle. No adults are allowed on most bouncy castles.
17. Are you insured? Yes, we have £5 million public liability insurance. We will only send copies to organisations and venues.
18. Do you offer any discounts? Yes, we can offer 10% discount on multiple hires.
19. What areas do you cover? We hire bouncy castles to most of Sheffield and Chesterfield. We also cover some parts of south Rotherham and Hope Valley. The following postcodes require a phone call prior to booking to make sure we can fit you in - S5, S6, S32, S33, S25, S35, S36, S45, S44, S61, S62 and DE45
